Businesses in most respark zones can apply for a permit. Permits are not permitted in zones R02, R11, R155C, R19SC, R22 and R42 due to lack of space.

To qualify you must

• pay business rates directly to the council for a business within a respark zone
• have no off street parking at the property (this includes space that is being used for purposes other than parking)
• not be living at the business

The permit can be used by any member of staff or visitor who has to use their vehicle for the business. Only one permit can be issued per property and it will state BUSINESS on it. You cannot buy visitor permits with a business permit.

Download and complete the business permit application. Return the form, with proof of identity and the correct payment, in person to City Parking Services Section.

Cost

The initial cost of your permit depends when you want to buy your permit and in which zone you live. You may also be eligible for a discount, if you have a short vehicle of less than 2.7m or one with low CO2 emissions.
