If you have a low emission vehicle you can get a discount of at least 50% on some of our parking charges.

You can get discounts on:

• Evening frequent users pass
• Season ticket parking
• Contract parking
• Resident contract parking
• Residents' priority parking scheme (Respark)

These vehicles emit lower levels of CO2 which is a major cause of greenhouse gases. Air pollution also affects the quality of life especially of those people with respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.

You will be entitled to a discount of at least 50% on the price of your permit if:

• you have a light passenger vehicle that has a low CO2 emission figure that qualifies the vehicle for a reduced rate of annual vehicle excise duty, and
• that vehicle meets the requirements of either Bands A - C of Parts 1 and 1A of the Vehicle Excise and Regulation Act 1994. The discount is also available for vehicles that are electric or liquid propane gas (LPG) powered.  The CO2 emission level of vehicles in Bands A - C is up to 120g/km2.  If you are unsure of the emission level of your vehicle, go to DVLA vehicle online services and select 'Vehicle Enquiry', then enter your vehicle registration number and vehicle make.
