Five Park & Ride sites currently operate in York. They allow you to travel to York by car, park for free in secure car parks and complete your journey into the city centre by bus.

On 24 and 31 December the last Park & Ride buses from the city centre will be at 6pm. There will be no services on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year's Day

All Park & Ride buses are frequent, low-floor and wheelchair accessible. Fares are low with up to two children under 16 travelling free when accompanied by a fare-paying adult. There are discounts available for regular Park & Ride users.

Overnight parking is not allowed on Park & Ride sites.

Cycling with Park & Ride

Free cycle parking is available at all Park & Ride sites for those who want to take advantage of the fast bus link into the city. Alternatively, you can park your car at a site (Grimston Bar, Rawcliffe Bar or Designer Outlet only) and cycle the rest of the way into the city.
