Requesting a Disabled Parking Bay outside your home

An on street disabled parking bay is a parking space exclusively for blue badge holders.

Are there any rules?

In order to support your request we need to be satisfied that:

  • There is a substantial problem
  • You do not have useable access to off-street parking areas

In addition:

  • The application has to be accompanied by proof that you are in receipt of the high level disability payment or supporting evidence from your GP
  • We also require documentary evidence of ownership/keeping of a vehicle at your address

Please note: -

  • A disabled parking bay can't be made for the exclusive use of one person.
  • Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that your request will eventually be implemented.
