Tour de Yorkshire

After the breathtaking 2014 Tour de France Grand Depart in York and Yorkshire City of York Council hosted stage two of the inagural Tour de Yorkshire.

York hosted the finish to stage two of the new UCI approved 2.1 Europe Tour race on Saturday 2 May. The stage saw riders cover 174km from Selby to York including two and a half laps of a 20km finishing circuit.

A women’s race was also held using the same 20km circuit taking in the stunning city centre. British Cycling licensed riders from Elite, first, second and third categories will be able to enter.
