Manor Lane-Carriageway Improvements

Posted on Tuesday 28 October 2008

City of York Council is to carry out improvements to the carriageway at Manor Lane, Rawcliffe. The work will start on Monday 3 November and is programmed to last for seven weeks.

The work will take place Monday to Friday between 8.15am and 5.00pm.

Works will be carried out in phases in order to maintain access to properties. Due to restricted road widths, several phases of the works will require a temporary road closure to provide safe working conditions.

Signed diversion routes for local traffic will be in operation during these times.

As with any construction work, there is likely to be a certain amount of disruption and inconvenience. Everything reasonably possible will be done to keep this to a minimum.

The contractor carrying out the work will be Tarmac Limited National Contracting.
