City of York Council is to carry out essential carriageway reconstruction and resurfacing along the section of Walmgate, between Fossgate and St Deny’s Road. The work will start on Monday 21 January and is programmed to last for approximately three weeks. The work will take place Monday to Friday.
New licensing rules for private hire vehicles and drivers
