City of York Council is reminding residents that the opening hours of its three Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) will change from the end of September.

The opening times of the Hazel Court, Towthorpe and Beckfield Lane centres vary according to the time of year and the winter opening hours, between 1 October and 31 March, are as follows:

Hazel Court HWRC: Monday to Saturday - 8.30am to 5pm; Sundays - 8.30am to 4pm.

Beckfield Lane HWRC: Monday AND Friday  - 5pm to 7pm; Saturday and Sunday - 10am to 2pm.

For October only, the Towthorpe HWRC will be open daily between 8.30am and 5pm.
