City of York Council will need to close a section of Askham Bryan Lane between Askham Lane cul-de-sac and the A1237 from 9am on Thursday 27 September until 4pm on Friday 28 September. 

This is part of the ongoing work to construct the A1237 Moor Lane roundabout and will allow a new section of drain to be put in place.

Access for cyclists and pedestrians will be maintained at all times.  Motorists heading to or from Askham Bryan or Askham Lane cul-de-sac should use the Copmanthorpe roundabout and Askham Fields Lane.  Drivers are advised to follow the signed diversion routes and allow extra time for their journeys.

The work will be carried out by Morrison Construction on behalf of City of York Council.
