Users of City of York Council's Yearsley Bridge Day Centre will enjoy a day at Beverley Races next Wednesday (19 September).

Those going along on the trip have made every effort to ensure that they look the part by creating their own unique hats especially for the occasion.

Joyce Hatch, a day service worker for the council, said: "Our customers are really looking forward to their trip to the races and have made some amazing hats."
