Posted on Monday 3 September 2007

Best-selling author Nick Arnold is to appear at York Theatre Royal with his 'Horrible Science' show in an event organised by City of York Council as part of the BA Festival of Science.

The action-packed show, which will take place at 6pm on Sunday 9 September, features the best bits from Nick's 'Horrible Science' series, including gruesome facts; curious quizzes and revolting experiments. This unmissable event has been organised by the council's library service to coincide with the festival and The Big Wild Read event. The library service will be hosting an event beforehand for specially invited guests selected as part of a free prize draw operating in local schools that are taking part in the Big Wild Read event.

Tickets for the show are priced at £3 for adults, £1.50 for children or £7 for a family of four. They can be booked via the Theatre Royal box office or by visiting www.yorktheatreroyal.co.uk
