Want to let your property quickly? Don't want to pay a hefty management fee? Then City of York Council may have the answer.
The authority's Homelessness Prevention team works with private landlords across the city to help secure accommodation for families who have approached them for help.
The team has a waiting list for people needing properties, doesn't charge a fee for introducing the tenant and can help organise housing benefit for tenants if necessary.
Anyone who has one or more private houses or flats to rent is invited to a
forum on Wednesday 26 September to find out more about what the team can
offer.
The forum will be held at the Customer Advice Centre 10-12 George Hudson
Street York from 6.30pm. Booking is not necessary and refreshments will be
provided.
