Residents will be able to get access to a range of advice services on Wednesday - without even interrupting their shopping.

The York Advice Service Partnership, a multi agency consortium of advice providers, is holding a stall in Parliament Street on Wednesday, 12 September between 11am and 6pm to promote access to advice for people in York. The team will cover a wide range of civil legal advice issues such as benefits, debt, housing, employment and family issues. Representatives from City of York Council, York Citizen's Advice Bureau, the Housing Advice Resource Project, the Primary Care Trust and York Credit Union will be on hand to answer questions.

People will be able to get advice on the day or get contact details for the different organisations in York which can offer good quality free advice.
