Lord Mayor of York, Councillor Irene Waudy, will receive a donation towards her chosen charities from local artists and potters tomorrow (Tuesday 16 October).
The money was raised at two arts festivals held in the city centre earlier in the year, at which exhibitors donated ten per cent of their sales to the Lord Mayor's chosen charities - Martin House Hospice and the York Blind and Partially Sighted Society.
A total of £1,260.14 was raised.
