Following a recent safety audit on the new traffic signals at the junction of York Road and the A1079 Hull Road, City of York Council will be carrying out works that will enhance the safety and operation of the junction, starting next week (Monday 5 November).
The work is expected to take two weeks to complete and will be carried out between 7.00pm and 6.00am, Monday to Friday, to minimise disruption to the public. During this time, temporary traffic lights will be in operation.
Although the works schedule has been planned to minimise disruption, drivers should expect some delays.
