Residents of City of York Council's Delwood sheltered housing scheme in Fulford are holding a craft sale to raise money for Martin House Hospice.

Items created during the Wednesday afternoon craft sessions attended by residents will be available to buy at a coffee morning taking place at Delwood next Wednesday 28 November between 10am and 12 noon. A local chocolatier will  attend to sell her handmade chocolates and there will be also be raffle in aid of Martin House Hospice.

Delwood's warden, Sue Norman, said: "A group of residents have been working hard every Wednesday afternoon since last February to make craft items that will be sold at the coffee morning. They have produced work of a really high standard and, as their warden, I'm very proud of them."
