Tell us what you think

Posted on Monday 12 November 2007

York residents are being asked what they think to the council's services in an annual postal survey this week.

The random survey of around 5,000 residents will find out what people think about their local services, such as waste and recycling and recreational facilities, as well as asking how well people feel the council performs and how well it spends. It is also an opportunity for people to let the council know where it can improve and say which services it finds the most helpful.

City of York Council chief executive Bill McCarthy said: "The council is always looking to improve and what better way of finding out how we are doing, than asking our residents.

"It is really useful to know what our cutomers and residents think about the council's key services and the feedback from these surveys is used to inform decision making and improve services. So please find the time to complete this survey if you receive one."

The survey is going out to a sample of York residents from today (Monday 12 November). If you have any questions about the survey, please contact City of York Council on 01904 551022.
