City of York Council is inviting residents to an over 50s event at Tang Hall Library next Friday 25 May, from 2pm until 4.30pm, to mark Adult Learners Week.

The event will provide an opportunity to view the Tang Hall History Group's photographic collection, attend a story-time session, find out about the courses on offer in the Library Learning Centre and even have a go at a mini computer taster session.

There will also be a chance for people to collect Bookstart packs for their children and grandchildren.

Refreshments will be provided and everyone is welcome to attend.
