City of York Council will start resurfacing the footway along Farmlands Road next Monday 21 May.

The work will take two weeks to complete and involves overlaying the existing footways and vehicle crossings with a new layer of tarmac.

It will be carried out by the council's Neighbourhood Services team between the hours of 8am and 4pm from Monday to Friday, although some weekend work may be required.

Access for residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
