City of York Council will start resurfacing and rebuilding the footway along Chelwood Walk on Monday 2 April.

The work will take around four weeks to complete and involves rebuilding the existing concrete crossing points in tarmac and laying a new surface along the rest of the footway.

It will be carried out by the council's Neighbourhood Services team between the hours of 8am and 4pm from Monday to Friday, although some weekend work may be required.

Access for residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
