The Easter edition of City of York Council's hugely popular School's Out magazine is now available from schools and libraries across the city.
As usual, it is bursting with great activities for young people aged five to 18 years, and their families, to enjoy during the forthcoming Easter break.
New activities include lots of different dance sessions at Oaklands Leisure Centre, covering everything from ballet to street dance. There is free tennis coaching at Rowntree Park, as well as lots of other fun activities in other parks around the city.
More out of school clubs are listed than ever before, offering plenty of great play activities. Readers are urged to take a look and find a local group, or even try somewhere further from home, to get out and make new friends.
There will also be a city centre Open Air Game Show event in Parliament Street on Monday 2 April between 11am and 2pm, which will be run by the fantastic Global Youth team.
In addition to all this, there are also lots of free activities happening in the council's libraries. All of the old favourites will be running as usual, and the magazine also contains great games and puzzles.
A special School's Out promotional DVD will be filmed at some of the activity sessions taking place during the Easter holidays and this will eventually be shown in schools.
