Customers can now access even more of City of York Council's Services 24/7 thanks to the new look website.

From this week, anyone wanting to request a new waste container or report an abandoned vehicle, can do so using the website at www.york.gov.uk.

The website now includes online forms to report:, asbestos, flytipping and street litter. The forms can also be used to request Building Control Inspections.

Sarah Fitsell from the council's web team, said: "We've listened to customer feedback and the website is now easier to use and has more information on it. The new online forms makes it quick and convenient to report problems or request services, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We hope that as the website continues to develop, more services will be added."
