City of York Council will start rebuilding the footway on Barrett Avenue on Monday 5 February.

The work will take around two weeks to complete and involves taking up the flagstones and rebuilding the footway in tarmac. It will be carried out by the council's Neighbourhood services team between the hours of 8am and 4pm from Monday to Friday. However, some work may need to be carried out at weekends.

Access for residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
