City of York Council will start rebuilding the footway along part of Bishopthorpe Road next week.

The work will start on Monday, 29 January in the area fronting Cameron Walker Court between Cameron Grove and Aldreth Grove. It will take one week to complete and involves lifting up the flagstones and rebuilding the footway in tarmac.

Work will be carried out between the hours of 8am and 4pm from Monday to Friday, although some weekend work might be required.

Access for residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
