Heworth residents are invited to attend a community safety event taking place at Tang Hall Primary School next Tuesday, January 30.

Residents can take their bicycles along to have them security tagged free of charge by community police officers. A total of 40 tags are available and these will be fitted on a first come first served basis.

Representatives of Age Concern, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Servie, City of York Council 's Streetscene service and the neighbourhood policing team will also be in attendance.

The meeting will take place between 6pm and 8pm, and tea and coffee will be provided.
