York Literature Festival: Win Suzannah Dunn's latest book

Posted on Friday 23 February 2007

City of York Council is giving away a copy of Suzannah Dunn's latest book to celebrate the author's participation in the city's first ever Literature Festival.

'The Sixth Wife' is Suzannah's new fiction title about the level-headed Katherine Parr, who survived four years of marriage to Henry VIII. When Thomas Seymour won Katherine's heart less than a year after the king's death, their hasty union undid a lifetime of caution. The novel is a gripping tale of love, passion, betrayal and heartbreak.

Suzannah Dunn is the author of eight previous books of fiction, including 'Blood Sugar', 'Venus Flaring' and 'The Queen of Subtleties'. She will be giving a lunchtime reading in the Biography Room at York's Central Library on Tuesday 6 March at 1pm. Admission is free of charge.

Anyone who would like to be in with a chance of winning a copy of 'The Sixth Wife' should send their name, address and telephone number to: Anne Mortimer, Read Write York, City of York Council, Mill House, North Street, York, YO1 6JD.

The closing date for entries is Friday, 2 March. All entries will go into a free prize draw and should be labelled 'The Sixth Wife'.
