City of York Council will start rebuilding the footway along Wharton Avenue on Monday, 26 February.

The work will take around four weeks to complete and involves rebuilding the footways and replacing the kerbs.

It will be carried out by the council's Neighbourhood Services team between the hours of 8am and 4pm from Monday to Friday, although some weekend work may be required.

Access for residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
