A public inquiry into the application to register land west of Metcalfe Lane, York as a village green will start on 9 October.
The venue will be the Council Chamber at The Guildhall, York and the inquiry is expected to last for four days.

Anyone who would like to make a 'proof of evidence' submission as part of the inquiry process is asked to do so by writing to: Verlie Riley, Design, Conservation & Sustainable Development, City of York Council, 9 St. Leonard's Place, YO1 7ET. All submissions will be forwarded to the inspector by 11 September for consideration during the inquiry.
