A number of City of York Council employees will be recognised for attaining National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) and Learning Disability Awards in a ceremony at The Guildhall on 9 May.
In total, 78 members of staff from the council's Housing and Adult Social Services directorate will be presented with nationally-recognised qualifications. Awards will be presented to employees who have worked towards the Learning Disabilities Award Framework, as well as NVQs in Health and Social Care, Team Leading and Management, and to newly-qualified NVQ assessors.
The certificates will be presented by Bill Hodson, Director of Housing and Adult Social Services.
