City of York Council will play host to an open air art exhibition in Parliament Street in the city centre this weekend (Saturday and Sunday 28 and 29 April).
The exhibition will be open between 9am and 5pm on Saturday and from 10am until 4pm on Sunday.
It is an opportunity for local artists and potters to display and sell their paintings, drawings and ceramics. Ten per cent of the sales will go towards the Lord Mayor's charities and the Lord Mayor, Councillor Janet Hopton, will tour the exhibition on Saturday morning at 10am
More than 40 artists and 20 potters will be attending the event.
