Particularly aimed at children under thirteen years of age, the line-up includes Christmas tree decoration, storytelling and outdoor activities.
Highlights include 'Christmas through the ages', a special explorers activity day at the ARC, St Saviour's Church on Saturday 13 December, involving treasure hunts, crafts and Tudor dancing; and an afternoon of Christmas decoration making at Clifton Backies Nature Reserve on Monday, 22 December.
Brochures are being distributed through primary and special schools and are also available in libraries and on City of York Council's website at www.york.gov.uk/ . Booking should be made directly through the activity organiser.
