City of York Council will be resurfacing and reconstructing the carriageway on York Street, Dunnington from Monday, March 11th 2002, which will last for one week.

The works will be carried out between 8.00am and 4.30pm between Monday and Friday and the road will remain open to traffic but with some restrictions due to the operations of some traffic management measures.

The contractor, Tarmac Limited, will be planing off the existing surface and reconstructing and resurfacing the road with a new tarmac surface.

All those directly affected by the works have received a letter explaining what is happening.
