City of York Council will continue culvert works in Main Street, Nether Poppleton on Monday, 11 March 2002. The work is expected to last for up to two weeks.

The works have been extended because of high river levels and adverse weather conditions. The road will be closed to through vehicular traffic between the junctions with Riverside Gardens and Riversvale Drive. A diversion route will be signed along Ebor Way and Riversvale Drive.

Through pedestrian access will be maintained but through access for emergency vehicles will not be available.
