Please note that the free swim cards for under 16s and over 60s are no longer valid and you will need to produce a valid YorkCard and proof of concession on each visit to get a discounted rate.

Discounts and concessions are available for most of the sporting activities at Energise and Yearsley Swimming Pool.
Carers
Carers come for free when accompanying a disabled person and are entitled to a concession (see below) at other times.
Local resident discounts
A YORKCard entitles residents of York to a discount. The YORKCard is available from libraries and must be shown on each visit to the facility to obtain the discount.
Concessions
The following concessions are available but proof must be shown on each visit.

| Full time Students | Valid Student or NUS card (card must be in date and indicate expiry date) |

| Carers Allowance | Letter or proof that allowance is received |
| Housing benefit and Council Tax benefit | Entitlement letter showing that allowance is received or bill showing benefit deducted |

We do not give concessions on the basis of
- being a part time student
- receiving Child or Family Tax Credit
- receiving Child Benefits.
For your safety we ask that:
- The minimum age of entry for Women's Swim and Aquafit is 16 (14 when accompanied by an adult)
- Children under 5 should ideally be accompanied on a 1:1 basis regardless of swimming ability
- A responsible individual of 16 years or over is required to supervise no more than 2 under 8s or 2 non-swimming children in the pool.
Be Active Membership
You can pay a monthly fee for Be Active membership which gives you all the swimming you want!
Membership includes
- FREE introduction to the fitness suite at Energise
- unlimited swimming at Energise and Yearsley Swimming Pool
- unlimited use of Be Active fitness suite at Energise
- unlimited health and fitness classes at Energise and Yearsley Swimming Pool.
- unlimited climbing at Energise (must be a registered climber)
