The Wall is the fantastic new addition to the City of York Council’s climbing facilities.  Standing at an impressive 7 metres high, with the capacity to hold up to four climbers simultaneously, The Wall can be brought direct to your site and be fully assembled within 30 minutes. 

This eye-catching asset can be adapted to cater for a variety of needs.  Featuring 4 automatic belays The Wall can offer novices, one-off or first time climbers the opportunity to climb and descend the wall safety.  This makes The Wall ideal for hire at charity events, shows, fun days or any occasion where large numbers of people intend to climb.

Our fully qualified instructors are able to change the automatic belays to top ropes offering climbers and potential climbers the chance to learn or develop belaying skills whilst under their close supervision.  Our instructors have the versatility to teach in a variety of settings whether it’s for school or corporate groups, team building sessions, at community events or for most things in-between!   The Wall can be brought directly to your doorstep and tuition sessions tailor-made to suit your needs
