Main pool

The main pool is a 6 lane 25 metre pool, open to the public from 7am weekdays and 8am weekends.

Small pool

The small pool is slightly warmer and is suitable for young families, beginners and those who wish to improve their water confidence.

Both pools have easy walk in steps and pool hoists if you need assistance.

Changing village

The changing village has over 30 unisex changing cubicles including some adapted for families and disabled swimmers.  The family changing cubicles have wall-mounted driers costing £1 for 3 minutes – useful to dry off quickly or if you forget your towel!

There are over 160 lockers of various sizes all operated by a convenient ‘keyless’ wristband.  These are available from reception at a cost of £1.20 with £1 being refunded after your swim.

Communal showers, individual shower cubicles and hairdryers are also in the changing village

Disabled facilities include a specially adapted poolside wheelchair and height adjustable changing bench. There are separate disabled changing cubicles which lead straight out onto the pool and these have self contained showers, changing benches and toilets. All lockers have tactile and Braille numbering systems.  If you require any assistance please ask at reception.

To help us keep the facility clean we ask that you remove your shoes in the lobby to the changing village and that you take a shower on poolside before going in the water.

Spectator area

For pool viewing please use the spectator area where there are a number of tables and chairs with vending machines and TV screen nearby.
