Play football, hockey or tag rugby on our multi-purpose synthetic pitch. Get your own team together and come along to play with your friends, or join one of the many clubs who use Energise.

The flood-lit synthetic pitch measures 102m x 65m and is marked out for hockey and football (91.5m x 55m pitch with 5m run-off all round). It can also be set up for 5-a-side football with purpose-designed curtains to divide the pitch into thirds.  It is also used for tag rugby.

The centre also has two grass football pitches used through the winter season by Moor Lane, Post Office FC, Acomb Celtic and Marcia Grey.
