This year Yearsley Pool celebrates 100 years of history and we are holding 100 days of celebrations. The festivities start on Saturday 26 July with a free swim for all and run until Sunday 2 November.

During this time we'll be holding all sorts of promotions, free taster events and swims and fundraising challenges. We will also be introducing a 17m long inflatable for extra fun on Sunday afternoons!

The grand finale to centenary celebrations will be an amazing dance-theatre performance in the swimming pool called Lido. This will be performed by professional dancers and competitive swimmers and choreographed by artistic directors of theatre company 103 Falling Birds, Sam Lawrence and Ellen Snarr. With music accompaniment from a local brass band this event will take place on Friday 31 October, Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 November. Look out for tickets going on sale nearer the time - they're sure to go quickly!
