The following pitches are available to hire in York:

• Knavesmire - 15 pitches
• Chesney Field - 2 pitches (1 rugby)
• Hempland Lane - 1 pitch 
• Victoria Park (Leeman Road) - 2 pitches

Charges are £80 per team, per pitch for the season to hire. Pitches are first offered to clubs that hired them the previous year.

Marking

Clubs are responsible for the initial and over marking out of the pitch. The initial mark out is done at the beginning of the season, over marks are done throughout.

City of York Council can carry out marking for clubs, please contact us for more information. We use lime to mark out lines, which kills the grass and leaves brown marks when the white has worn off. This is harmless to animals.
