Craft groups

Calling all crafty people! Why not come along to one of the lively, mixed groups below to meet up with others and discuss your latest creations. Our groups are open to all kinds of crafty people including knitters, felters, cross-stitchers and more. Libraries are the ideal place to get together and share your skills, thanks to the relaxed environment and extensive craft book collections on offer. Maybe you'll find the inspiration for your next big project. Feel free to join us, and bring your latest project with you.

Acomb

The Craft Club meet weekly at Explore Acomb on Saturday mornings, 10am - 12pm, excluding Easter and Christmas.  For more information contact Julie Travis on (01904) 552652.

Copmanthorpe

Copmanthorpe Library have two groups:

  • Knit and Natter have a knitting focus, and meet monthly on the third Thursday of the month at 11am
  • The craft group are open to everyone with every type of craft, and they meet every Monday from 10am - 12noon

Dringhouses

There are weekly Library Knit and Natter sessions at Dringhouses Library.  Drop in between 10 and 12 each Tuesday.  For more information call the library on (01904) 552674.

New Earswick

The craft group at Explore New Earswick meet first saturday of the month from 10am to 12 noon.  For more information call the explore centre on (01904) 552629.

Tang Hall

Purls of Wisdom get together at Tang Hall Library on alternate Saturdays, 10.30am - 12pm, excluding Easter and Christmas.  For more information contact Julia Sanders on (01904) 552655.
