In March and April you told us about your favourite story and picture books.  Using these nominations, we are drawing up a shortlist of York's favourite children's books which will be announced on Monday 11 June. You will have until 16 September to vote for your favourite of these. If you would like to read the books we will have copies you can borrow from libraries.

Why not come along to one of our Chatterbooks Groups for 8 - 12 year olds to talk about the books with other children. Chatterbooks Groups meet at Explore York, Explore Acomb and Tang Hall libraries.  Chatterbooks groups meet fortnightly throughout the year.

We will also be reading the picture books at our Under 5s story times during June and early July.
