Easter funfair

York holds an annual family funfair in the city centre every Easter. The fair is held on St George's Field car park, Skeldergate and has rides and attractions for all ages.

In 2007 it runs from Thursday 6 April to Sunday 15 April. It is generally open from mid-afternoon until mid-evening.

If you organise a fair where items are sold in the street or on land where the public has access without paying you need consent from the council.
