We currently welcome applications from all good teaching and support staff who are available to work from September 2008.

Please indicate on a note accompanying your supply application form whether you have applications for other posts pending, and if so, when these applications are likely to be resolved.

If one or more of your referees are based in school as we are now in a school holiday period there may be some delay in obtaining references.

Bearing in mind the number of applicants for supply work already received this summer, and the likely delay with references, any interviews will now be in late September 2008 at the earliest.

About the agency

City of York Supply Agency was set up in September 1999 by the council to provide quality supply support and teaching staff to York schools.

The agency was a response to concerns about the time spent by school staff arranging supply cover and the quality and cost of staff provided by private agencies.

City of York Supply Agency has been service-led from the start, is self-financing, with profits being used to fund training and support for supply staff.
