We value every contact we have with our customers – whether it is giving advice on council tax matters, answering planning questions, processing benefit claims/changes, supporting environmental issues such as keeping the streets clean, discussing your waste collection service, to simply transferring you to the right person who can answer your enquiry.

When contacting City of York Council, it is likely that you will speak to one of our team of customer service representatives. This team delivers services on behalf of different departments within the council ensuring you receive the same quality of service however you choose to get in touch, whether it’s by email (ycc@york.gov.uk), our 24hr online servicing facility, telephone (01904) 551550, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm) or visiting our Customer Centre at West Offices, Station Rise, York, YO1 6GA.
