We are asking everyone to complete our Understanding You Better survey. If you have done so already, then thank you! If you haven't, why not choose how you want to do it:
By completing the Understanding You Better survey you help us to get it right and to deliver better services.
You make sure our records are up to date by telling us who lives with you in your home.
You choose how you prefer us to contact you - by letter, by phone call at home, work or mobile, by email
You tell us what you need - a large print letter, Streets Ahead on CD, information in your own language
These choices save money. When we know how best to contact you, we can target our services accurately.
You also help deliver services fairly and equally by providing information on ethnicity, age, disability, sexuality and religion. ( You can choose the " prefer not to say " option if you feel a question is too personal - none of the answers with that option are seen by staff who work with you, so your information remains private ). We ask these personal questions to make sure we understand all our customer groups and can take steps to involve minority groups when we carry out consultations. This makes sure the feedback we get is representative of all our customers.
