A warden is on hand during the day to offer support and assistance.
Wardens are not on site at night, but all flats are connected to the warden’s office and to York Warden Call, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, by use of a pendant or emergency pull cords.
The warden call equipment is regularly tested by the warden.
The warden does not make doctor's appointments, carry out personal care tasks, domestic tasks or shopping. However, if you need help with occasional shopping or collection of prescriptions because of ill health, assistance will be offered.
