Applying for sheltered housing
Anyone can apply for sheltered housing accommodation, you do not have to be an existing council tenant.
For sheltered housing with care accomodation, a referral will need to be made by a social worker or care manager.
To apply for sheltered housing you will need to apply to join the York housing register.
