Sheltered housing offers independent living within a safe and secure environment. There are 16 sheltered housing schemes in York.

  • Viewing the property and moving in
    You will be contacted by an estate manager who will arrange to show you around the property, with the warden if possible. If you decide to move in, the estate manager will give you the keys for the property, and you will become responsible for the tenancy
