City of York Supporting People are inviting the opportunity for organisations that are not currently providing Supporting People services in York to express an interest. The city
has a Supporting People budget of £5.3 million and provides housing related support to vulnerable customers in the community to enable them develop independent skills in
maintaining their tenancy. There will be a requirement to demonstrate experience of working with specific client groups with a commitment to achieving outcomes and
developing independence skills.
New accreditation categories for Supported Lodgings and Warden Call are now available and we have under representation within the category of Handyperson
provision.
This is an open process with no specific time limit for application, however your organisation will not be considered for new service provision until obtaining Approved
