Street naming and numbering

We are the Street Naming and Numbering Authority for the administrative area of the City of York. We carry out these functions under the provisions of the Public Health Act 1925 sections 17 to 19.

We are the principal point of contact for address issues.

We maintain the definitive record of street names and property addresses.
